Although it is nearly 50 years since Professor Branemark of Nobel Biocare made the revolutionary breakthrough in dental implants, it is only since the last ten years we can confidently say: - "Dental implants is an idea whose time has come". Thanks to the multidisciplinary effort from world wide teams of dentists, bio-technologists, research scientists and committed manufacturers, an "Ideal Implant" has almost arrived.

Ideally, dental implant treatment is done in TWO stages. In stage ONE the implants are placed in the jaw bones and allowed to osseointegrate (fuse with the bone). This process of "osseointegration" takes 3 to 6 months, and therefore, the stage TWO (where crowns/denture is fixed on the earlier placed implants) is done only AFTER 3 to 6 months.

Fortunately for those who want immediate teeth (where crowns/denture is fitted over the implants within 2 to 12 days after the implants are placed in the jaw), there is an excellent new implant from Nobel Biocare called Nobel Active. This uniquely designed and patented implant is an amazing implant for those who want immediate teeth. However, in certain cases where the bone is soft, immediate teeth cannot be provided even with this Nobel Active implant. In such a case, patient has to wait for 3 to 6 months for osseointegration to happen.

For patients who want LOW COST immediate teeth, we also have another proven method of doing it. In this procedure, we splint (join) multiple implants together by means of a titanium bar, which decreases chances of micro movement in the implant bone interface, and thus osseointegration is not hampered. Dr Hubert is trained in this technology (syncrystallisation), and we have the latest second generation 'Intra-oral Welding Machine' to do it. Unfortunately, not all cases of immediate teeth can be done by this methodology, and Nobel Active implant may still be needed in such cases.

The total cost of dental implant treatment depends on the TYPE and NUMBER of dental Implants and Crowns that are used for implant treatment. This is something which we can tell you only AFTER we examine the condition of your bone, your gums (gingiva) and your bite... things that cannot be evaluated from the x-rays and CT-scans alone.

Personal 'clinical examination' of the patient by the Implantologist is a must for dental implant treatment planning and exact 'cost estimation'. Therefore, the final treatment plan will be decided only AFTER we have a thorough checkup of YOUR bone, gums and bite, at our clinic, but before starting the treatment.

Dr Hubert Gomes is a Nobel Fellow in Dental Implantology, and has done both their basic as well as most of their advanced courses in dental implants, including their course on All-on-4 implant treatment concept. Besides Nobel Biocare training, Dr Hubert has attended over fifty dental implant courses in different parts of the world, and continues to upgrade his knowledge and skills, by attending this kind of courses. workshops and seminars on Dental Implants and Cosmetic Dentistry, every year.

With his vast experience, Dr Hubert has developed a surgical technique which makes dental implant treatment a very simple, painless, and result oriented procedure. As far as PRICING of Implant treatment is concerned, we have a wide variety of dental implants (to suit different budgets), and a brief summary of the same is given below:

      Category of implants Brief description
      One-piece Dental Implants
      (Rs 18,000/- each)
Unlike all other “2-piece Dental Implants”, the Body and Abutment of these Implants are joined as ‘one piece’. However, these implants can be used for certain restricted cases only.
      Low cost Dental Implants
      (Rs 21,000/- each)
As we want to make Dental implant Treatment “affordable to all patients”, this category of implants is meant for those who do NOT want to spend much money to get their implant treatment at our Clinic.
      Regular Dental Implants
      (Rs 26,000/- each)
These are “value for money” dental implants from reputed South Korean Companies like Osstem and Dentium who manufacture and market very good quality implants at a reasonable price.
      Premium Dental Implants
      (Rs 30,000/- each)
These are time-tested dental implants from some of the world’s best companies like Nobel Biocare (Sweden), Straumann (Switzerland), Bradent (Germany), and Biohorizon (USA). We have been using these implants since many years, and have achieved excellent results and amazing long term durability.

NOTE: Cost of Artificial Bone, X-rays & Crowns is EXTRA

      OUR CONFIDENCE IN OUR IMPLANTS.
Our confidence in the predictability and success of our implant treatment is based on the following factors:

      1. Proper Case Selection:
We recommend implants only to those patients whose bone and other health parameters meet the necessary requirements. We do NOT undertake it when the chances of failure are high. We judge this with the help of our Digital Panoramic X-Ray System- “PAX-P&P, Vatech”, which has implant simulation features.
Dental implant treatment involves a "complex" coordination between the various specialties of dentistry. Implantologists who have had a good experience in "general dentistry", are certainly in a better position to coordinate the surgical and restorative protocols of implant treatment. Besides our in-house dental laboratory which manufactures crowns and bridges, our long clinical experience in "general dentistry", is our biggest asset in dental implant treatment.

      2. Painless surgical procedure:
With over 35 years of clinical experience in dentistry, we definitely understand the “expectations and fears” of our patients, more than anybody else. Our in-depth practical knowledge of “restorative dentistry” has helped us to develop an innovative surgical protocol which has simplified surgery, and thus minimized pain and healing time.
Our Carl Zeiss Dental Operating Microscope (Germany) which provides 25 times illuminated magnification is a great boon to perform difficult implant surgeries. It enhances the clarity of vision and makes the implant treatment procedures less invasive and more accurate.

      3. Proper sterilization of instruments:
As 'proper' sterilization of instruments is very critical factor for the success of dental implant treatment, our sterilization protocol is very strict and as per international standards.. Besides ‘hot-bath ultrasonic cleaning’ of our instruments, our sterilization protocol includes "vacuum autoclaving'. We use the world’s best Autoclave from MELAG-oHG Germany.

IMPORTANT: If you are taking any "blood thinners", they should be STOPPED seven days prior to implant surgery, and the same should be INFORMED to your Dentist and family Physician (Cardiologist)
